Paula Abdul was a hitmaker during the 80s, and she later reached a new audience as a judge on American Idol.

Paula is now 61 and still has the moves that she did when she was just starting out as a Lakers Girl at the beginning of her career. The singer quickly climbed up the Billboard charts with tons of hits that have gone on to become 80s classics, like “Forever Your Gir”, “Straight Up” and “Cold Hearted.”

After her pop stardom, she served as a longtime judge on Fox’s American Idol where she duked it out with panelists Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson, while still being known as the kind judge. After her time on Idol, she did go on to have new career success as a judge on tons of reality competition shows, like The X Factor, So You Think You Can Dance, and more.
