A TEENAGE boy has been stabbed to death in broad daylight attack.

Taye Faik was attacked at 11.27am on Sunday in Kendal Gardens, Edmonton, North London.

His uncle says that the 16-year-old staggered back to his home after being knifed down.

He described Taye as a 'beautiful boy' adding: "All I can imagine is the look on his face as he was stabbed, I keep playing it over in my mind."

Police have confirmed no arrests have been made yet as a murder probe is underway.

A cordon is in place at the scene while detectives, local officers, and forensics try to work out what happened.

Fitzroy Fuller, 64, who lives in Kendal Gardens, told MyLondon a huge police response consisting of 11 police cars, four vans and two ambulances rushed to his street overnight."I had a look because I saw all the vehicles going down.

"But up until this morning i did not know what was going on. When I saw two ambulances I assumed it must be something. It's quite disturbing, that there are people capable of doing such a thing."

Det Chief Supt Caroline Haines, the senior officer responsible for the Met’s North Area, said: “I thank local people for their patience as police have worked through the night.
